Does any one know any tricks to get discounts on Roush Products, does the MCA membership give any discounts to these products as well?

I'm calling Roush tomorrow, I want to start with this if available for 2015 and a Procal or Roush Catback if available as well for 2015:

Maximize the performance and power of your 2012-2014 Ford 3.5L EcoBoost F-150 with the ROUSH Phase 1 Power Pack. ROUSH Performance takes the EcoBoost Cold Air Kit to the next level by adding calibration to the mix, pumping up the EcoBoost by 50 HP and 86 lb.-ft. TQ (over Ford advertised performance numbers) and still retains a 3 year/36,00 mile Limited Powertrain Warranty. - See more at: http://www.roushperformance.com/part....ZMxGYWEx.dpuf
I sent Rousch an email about five weeks ago and they said they were waiting to get the 2015 F150 and develop a system for the 2015. I don't think the 3.5 Ecoboost changed from the 2014, but you might want to touch base with them. I am very interested in that Rousch Phase one Power pack so please let us know what you find out.

Where are these people getting their tunes from?

I was looking at 5 Star, but if there are better options, I'm all ears.
5 star is good, thats who i use for my Raptor but u are better off going with a tuner that will data log and adjust your tune. this will get the most safe power out of your truck. leading edge tuning and unleashed tuning are a couple very good options. just do your homework on all the tuners. there are some others out there that put out a good tune but i think are a little close to the edge of being safe and dont have the DD smoothness either.

Is a catch can for the EB something all owners should consider? I don't tow at all. Maybe one trip to the deer lease with at most a half ton of corn. I don't race nor do I have a lead foot.

Thoughts?

I finally got a reply. Thanks for contacting ROUSH Performance. Per sales, there are plans for offering parts for the 2015 F-150, however there is no specific details to provide as of yet. Possibly Spring time.

I definitely would add one, probably two. One on the PCV line and one on the crankcase vent.

I had two on my 2012. It was surprising and a little disappointing how much they collected in such little time. It was a pain constantly draining them but my EB ran soooo much better with them. I ended up adding an additional reservoir they were collecting so much. I believe there were some underlying issues with the engine on mine which caused the cans to collect so much and the issue was only getting worse. It was one of the reasons I traded it in July.

So yes, I'd recommend some catch cans.

You may also want to pop off the hoses leading to and from the IC and see how much oil/water/gunk is in there. Some folks have a bunch (like my 2012 did) and some have none. If you are one of the lucky ones with little to none, you may not even "need" the cans but I'd probably still run them.

With downpipes and a tuner, you'll be knocking on the door of 12's, especially with the 2015 trucks. Livernois has a truck with their 93 tune that will run 12.80's. My truck will run low 13's the way it sits now.

From what I read, 5 Star has great tunes but they appear to be a little on the safe side. I'm partial to Livernois since they are local and I've used them in the past. There are a handful of great tunes out for the ecoboost platform if you research the 11-14 forum.
