When your truck is covered in ice and you put it in reverse, you can sometimes get that solid tone from the parking aid sensor. Is there a way to turn it off when you are in reverse?

If you look at your dashboard while in reverse and it is sounding, you should notice options to turn it off temporarily.

Two ways: May be enabled or disabled in the settings of the information display on the dashboard. Also, if enabled and place transmission in reverse it shows on the information display and may disable it for that occurrance.

Saw the option to turn it off on the dash once I was in reverse. Perfect. Thank you.

Or the fact the only viable option to get said ice off would be to hit with a hammer

1. I was only joking, sorry
2. I lived in PA for 20 years so I know a little something about snow and ice with single-digit weather.
3. Your original post said "snow" only
