This is was taken from a 2015-XL F150.

Mine loosened when the pop in spring clips started to rot away.
I didn't loose it, and bolted it back up with some 5/16 bolts and locking nuts.
I'm sure those factory clips are pricey, just suggesting an alternative, its really your choice.

I just used some u-nuts I bought at Lowe's. Can't remember the exact size, but it cost me something like $2.
