Default Park Roll

Anyone else notice the park roll on the 10 speed. From 2010,1011,2013,2015, I have never noticed this much roll when putting the truck into park!

May have something to do with the Recall. A problem with a clip that secures the transmission cable may not be seated properly.
Having mine looked at next week. In the meantime it is best to engage the parking brake(I always do) after putting the tranny into park.

I always use the parking brake on all of my vehicles. Resting on the park gear is not the greatest thing, plus zero movement.

My 16 rolls back with the parking brake engaged, makes hooking a trailer a PITA.

My 2018 does roll hardly at all. No more than any other vehicle I've owned.

Just repeating what the recall letter I received from Ford said. It was advised that until you bring the vehicle in for the recall inspection to apply the Parking brake and not trust just leaving the transmission in Park.

I think your parking brake is broken.

Neutral, Parking Brake, PARK. In that order. Truck shouldn't move not one 1mm.
