Paint Peeling off Roof

Paint Peeling off Roof
I was washing my truck this weekend when I noticed some paint peeling off the roof. Truck turned over 800 miles this weekend. Truck is a 2015 XLT in Ruby Red.
There's some sort of soft body strip that runs front to back that divides the aluminum roof and the top side body where the doors close. This strip is soft material and is painted to match the truck. Whatever it is, it is yellow under the paint.
See attachment.
I've contacted my dealer to see what they say.
My biggest concern is that because it appears one continuous coat of paint, that paint issues on that soft material can easily move over to the roof and get much worse.
Any others notice paint issues there? What type of options are available to repair/stop this?

were you using a pressure washer? You may want to change the nozzle. Hope the dealers come good for you. That's unacceptable on a brand new truck.

That's actually a wide layer of seam sealer. It is flexible and "squishy" so if you put some pressure on it, the paint will crack because the paint can't flex like the seam sealer can. If you do a google search, it's actually a common enough problem on Ford trucks built within the last 10 years or so. Give it 20 years and it will look like the picture below.
