Default Paint Peeling

Paint coming off top of tailgate. Don't know how to remove black plastic cover. Have a spray can of paint. Ideas? Enlarge photo to see it better.

Is it the actual paint or just clear coat?

The actual paint. Its alost like it was applied too thin there or paint didn't stick to the primer. Paint color is white gold, where paint is gone is silver color.

Yeah I would put the spray can down. Unless you are incredibly skilled with one, it will end up looking worse. Did you have any kind of protection on the paint? (Wax/ceramic coating/etc)

Don't use the rattle can. Get the tailgate repainted by a professional unless you want it to look like ***.
