P1289 Code. CHT location
I’m having troubles with my cylinder head temperature sensor and need to find a location
Is the flex feel 3.5 L the same location as the eco-boost? I can’t find a diagram or information anywhere.
I need to work on it this weekend and if I can confirm the location I will post some pictures of the process in detail
2015 v6 3.5l flexfuel
thanks!

Thanks Tmcolegr!!!!
going to try this out tomorrow!
I have already bought the CHT sensor, thermostat, the upper and lower intake gaskets as well as the thermostat Gaskets.
question: To depressurize the fuel lines I was going to pull the fuel pump fuse and run the engine until there’s no more fuel. Does anybody see issues with this?
Does anybody have a procedure of how to bleed or remove the air out of the system?

Done!
Hi all,
Thanks again for all the step-by-step instructions!
they were perfect!
Everything was very straightforward and Simple.
The only head scratcher were with some of the connections such as the quick disconnect fuel line as well as the electrical for the injectors. However that was due to my Lack of experience. I was able to figure it out in time. If anybody was going to try to attempt this there are no special tools needed.
When I finally was able to pull off the upper and lower intake manifolds I discovered what is very common .... mice!!!!
The electrical wires leading to the CHT sensor were chewed up and frayed.
Total time 4hrs including thermostat replacement.
