If not, then maybe the previous owner messed with FORScan, and somehow turned it off. Good luck.
I'm not sure. Where do I look or what does it look like?
I bought with 19k miles on it.
Could it seriously be possible to not have outside temp on a 2018?!?!?!?!?!

Look under the right mirror. It's a black round plug with a black little half moon sensor sticking down. Can't miss it. Should be the only thing under the mirror other than a puddle light.

Since you bought the truck used, a lot of things could have happened. if sensor is there, I'd pull it out to make sure it's connected. Previous owner would have replaced the mirror and mess up the wiring, or something. But also look into a link somebody posted above of a similar issue. If everything checks out, I'd ask for help at the FORScan thread to see what needs to be active, and check it out. Good luck.

Really? Ford keeps deleting crap from the trucks, while increasing the price. Nice. Anyway, just got home and took a picture of the sensor, so you know exactly what I'm talking about . The 'plug' is not round; sorry. The sensor is mounted to that little door that you can easily pop open. Hope this helps.

No. I definitely dont see anything like that. Will take one more look in the morning.

Gotta admit as furious and disgusted as I am that it appears I may not have outside temperature that I am truly grateful with the help from this group.

Early 2018's had the temp sensor in front of the radiator. It wasn't moved to the mirror until a few months into 2018. So I wouldn't panic if your sensor isn't in the mirror, mine isn't, 11/17 build. My temp is displayed though so I dunno

I was going to say depending on the build the temp sensor should be up under infront of the radiator behind the grill. Or on some.

I think under the settings for sync - you have to scroll though some but there is a toggle that displays temp. so you might need to go though all the sync settings.

Was the truck purchased used? I suspect that a previous owner may have made some FORScan mods...

I ask because both the outside temp display, and the 911 Assist not working you noted in the other thread you created can both be attributed to FORScan modifications in the APIM.

Enabling NAV in motion will disable the 911 Assist feature.

And there is a single line to disable the outside temp reading.

I'd recommend checking the radio frequencies to see if you have the extra digit, that will be a dead giveaway that NAV in motion has been enabled via FORScan (as will the round speed limit signs). If this is the case, you should be able to reset the APIM and restore both features.
