Default Ordering Advice

I am new to Ford and trucks. I am looking to order a 2015 Platinum F-150 and few questions:

1) When are 2016s coming in? If I order now is it better to get a 2015 or wait for a 2016?

2) I have been offered an order price of $58.5K on a truck with a MSRP of $63,100K. Is this a good price?

3) Does it matter which dealer to go with in sense of having a better chance of that order being picked up the factory.

4) My order preview sheet had a priority code of 19 - what does that mean?

Thank you so much in advance

from what I was told when its priority it means if there building one sim to what your order is and its just a build for the dealer order and not a personal order you get it. could have been another lie from the $*** sales men though lol I think this covers 3-4

1. No one really knows. Best guess is very late summer to mid fall.

2. Depends mostly on where you live, but it isn't a bad deal. My MSRP was 54,420. Invoice was 50,000. Anything below or near invoice is "good" right now.

3. Yes. Allocation is the word for that and you can ask the dealer what their F150 allocation looks like. They may or may not tell you.

4. Priority codes tell the factory which truck to build for that dealer next. They start at 0 however the lowest assigned to customers is 10 I think. Many dealers start around 20 (as I understand) to leave wiggle room for whatever reason. Order type affects it as well (Stock vs Retail). There is a long thread floating around here somewhere that explains it in much more detail.

Ford's new F-150 models come out in November. The 2015 was a little later due to the over-haul the plants had to go through with the aluminum frame.
