Ok how fussy is too fussy ? Scratch on rear window
#21
Since it is almost a perfect X make sure it's not the remnants of grease pencil that all vehicles are marked with during shipping. The cleanup department may not have gotten it all off. If it is scratched, contact the dealer and have them pay the glass shop to buff it out. ..you really don't want to replace the glass

KR doesn't have a separate source of more finely polished parts than the same ones found on an XL. A rear window is rear window, right? So, when you buy anything above an XL, you are paying for options...not levels of perfection.
I understand that the more something costs, the more you hope it is free from defect...but people buying a lower level trim shouldn't automatically be fine with defects or imperfections, should they?
Either way, I'd rather have the tiny window scratch than whatever the tech is more likely to booger up. I should note that I'm not as fussy as I used to be...so I'd forget about that scratch pretty fast.

Maybe you will have an exploding rear because its a weak point!
Just Kidding, I have one in mine 2 since new, noticed it a week later and now I don't even see it as I am over it.

After reading this thread, my sincere answer to your question is that you are being far too fussy.
I doesn't matter that it's a KR, it is a truck made of a million parts and probably 200+ of them have scratches on them. Fortunately, you can only see the one on your rear glass.
Also, I'd never consider having them open up the glass to replace it for that...the tech will make 5 scratches and chips on your paint while he's working....and probably leave an oily hand-print on your headliner.
It's not worth it....relax, forget about it, maybe take up a meditation class..

I completely get you OP, once you see something you can't unsee it, no matter how small the imperfection is. Sometimes you just got to let it go though. I'd be more worried about them screwing something up worse trying to fix the original defect.
