Oil Additive
Switching over to Mobile Synthetic this change. Anyone ever used a an oil additive? If so, recommendations?
I have the Coyote 5.0. 2016 with about 11500 on the odometer.

I worked for a company that spent a lot of money testing oil, additives, and mileage recommendations. 5000 miles oil changes on the most abused vehicles, any oil as long as it met Fords requirements, and additives were a waste of money.

No additives! The oil companies spend a lot of money optimizing the oil formulations then people think they can outsmart them by adding stuff. My personal favorite is pennzoil ultra platinum (5w30 in my 5.0), followed by either Mobil 1 or pennzoil platinum depending on intended use.
