Default Offset question

I currently have 20x9 with BS 5.5 and a offset of a +14. I want to get 1.25 spacers that would make my offset a -12 I think. I want a -12 to poke out a little past my busheacker flares. If i went with a 20 x 10 rim with same backspace. What offset would I need to make it a -12? Hope this makes some kind of sence. Thanks

Wouldn't a -12 offset be a -12 offset regardless of the wheel width?

Yep... But you cant get lets say a 20x8 in a -12mm offset. Usually only in a 20x10 is somewhere in that ball park. OP, you wouldn't need wheel spacers if you bought 20x10 wheels.
