Offset & Control Arm Clearance
I'm planning to get a 2018 XLT soon and I've been debating on the wheel offset needed to clear the upper control arm. I'm planning to run 325/60R20 tires on 20x9 wheels. The Fuel wheels that I'm looking at come in either 0 offset or +20 offset. I like the idea of the +20 offset to keep the tires tucked under the fenders more, but will the width of the tires cause them to rub on the upper control arm?
Maybe someone with 35x12.50R20 could measure the clearance between their tire and the upper control arm? Thanks!
EDIT: After some google searching, I came across this super helpful website for visualizing the offset versus suspension clearance.
