Makes sense.

The demographics indicate there will be a LOT of aging boomers who only need a little truck to go to the pharmacy. A big trip would be to Lowe's to get some AC filters for the house.

Pecked out on my iPhone.

Back in the 80's VW sold tons of their diesel Rabbit pickups, the place I worked at had one. I could see it something striking the same cord again. Also as a fleet delivery truck like Pep Boys, Autozone & even Pizza.

Update. I finally got the grille installed, as well as the lowering shackles to give it a more leveled stance until I make my mind up about a lowering kit. Last week when I posted, I was running the aluminum factory 22’s off a limited. First let me say that I will miss the look of them, but I will not miss the crappy ride. So I offloaded them to someone else and got a great deal on new OEM 20’s with a slightly bigger tire. Still looking for conversation about lowering kits for RCSB 2.7 trucks.

It sure does look good, The grille really changed the look. I don't even hardly notice the 22vs20. I had to look back at the 1st picture you posted to even see the difference.

Thanks guys. I’m really considering the maxtrack 3/5 kit that the dealers are using for the “earthquake” edition regular cabs. Anyone on the forum have that kit, or better yet, one of the earthquakes?

It seems like a member had issues with the lower ball joint rubbing the wheel on his 20" wheels. Here is the post, these were not OE wheels though.
