I'd love to bag her lol, but in all reality, it'll probably never happen with this truck as I've got other priorities for that level of spending. I largely want the spindles for alignment geometry and the weight. I also kinda want to go back to stock springs. It may just be fading memory, but I feel like the stock springs were a little more stable than the Crown drop springs.

Currently the truck is sitting 3.5"/6". Rides very similar to stock, and handles excellent. Although I have not yet towed with it I suspect it should tow similar to stock, as both the front and rear factory springs are still used.

I slotted the rear control arm mounting points and with out any additional parts was able to get it aligned very close to spec, only having more caster than called for.

Parts used:

Front Struts: Belltech 25007 with 1.5" of spacers installed.

Rear Socks: Belltech 2761EE

MaxTrac 4" rear axle flip kit 303240

Hellwig rear sway bar 7743

Ebay China special 1.5" wheel spacers.

Your series of post showing what parts do what to the truck are the best I've seen. Well done!

Mike

Belltech struts for 1" drop in front
Belltech 4" flip kit with 2716EE Shocks out back.
Sitting on 20x9 Moto Metals with 265/55/20's

I had planned to go with a 3/6 drop but the Maxtraxx spindles wouldn't work with my wheels. The lower ball joint was digging in to the wheel. When I go bigger on the wheels I will finish the drop.

Lets see some lowered trucks-photo121.jpg
Removed the lift shackles I originally installed to level it out since the coils finally settled some. Sits 1/2" high in the rear now.

Yes I did, also used the supplied thinner ball joint nut. It still would not clear these wheels. I even tried to install 1/4" spacers and it still wasn't enough.
