Tip, clean your plastidip with TurtleWax Ice spraycwax, thank me later. Spray on, wipe off. Clean and protected. It's simply that easy.

Nothing on this truck. My dip days are past. I have done many wheels though, 04 Focus and used Peelcoat graphite and Plastidip black on my 07 F150.

Here is my 07 I traded for this truck:

Front and rear Ford badges, tow hooks, mirrors, and trim above tailgate release. All chrome has been removed, painted, or plasti-dipped. I have un-platinum'd my Platinum. I wish there was a simple way to get rid of the billboard on the rear, but I don't like the alternatives.

I Plasti dipped my wheels about a month and half ago. My truck was recently damaged and went to our local repair shop. When i got it back all the wheels had bits of white cotton like pieces on all the wheels. I can rub them off, but it's a chore. I'm guessing since the dip has a slight bit of tackiness (I guess that's the word), the bits are from the when the shop covered the wheels to work on the truck. I plan on redoing my wheels next month to do a better job, plus I'm going to also use the metalizer over them.

Would the ICE spray wax help eliminate or reduce the tackiness?

Don

I dipped the center and left the chrome border to tie in with the bumpers. Door handles and mirror caps are ptm. I had the 500a lariat chrome grille with black accents, but I put my original back on and made it mimmic the sport grille. I dont mind the chrome just have to break some of it up.

I have used the glossifier and metallizers and all they do is make the dip texture uneven and tacky. I prefer just plain dip and clean and protect it with the Turtle Wax Ice spray wax. On my red truck above, the Peelcoat graphite was on it for over 2 years and still looked great.
