Default Off Road Angle Data

Just wondering if the off-road meter display that shows degree of incline is standard for all 4x4 with the mid-level display and higher?

Pretty cool, I actually used it today, checking the slope of the driveway into my camping spot.... hit 12 degrees at one point, mostly in the 6 - 9 degree range. I wonder how accurate it is? Seems pretty realistic. I had to use 4x4 to keep from spinning the rear tires in the gravel...

Mine works as advertised, but it is slow in response to changes in the angles. My driveway has a 6-7 degree slope.

I have watched it on several posted steep (ie 6%, 7%, 15%) grades in the mountains recently. Seems very consistent and believable. I like the turn angle reading in the center for parking or hookup up my boat in tight quarters and moving 12-24 inches matters. I can ensure I am pointed the right way when starting to roll, don't have to poke my head out the windows to try to see the tires.

Why would it be inaccurate?

Maybe a bad inclinometer sensor?

I was wondering if there is any data regarding a maximum roll angle. I know it would very by truck and specific conditions, but say 45 degrees? More? Less? Just curious.
