Default OEM Front Bumper Removal & Install

I am doing a home replacement of my front bumper after a little "red light bump." I don't see any other real damage except for the bumper pad and plastic center grill. I have searched for a replacement bumper and found them for as low as $250 and as high as $1200- for just the basic Lariat trim chrome OEM, and that is what I want.
I have found a few videos on removal & replacement, but have not been able to find one on this message board, and because a lot of you here are DIY type guys as I am, I am looking for any hints or "what to watch for" that you have discovered when removing-installing a new bumper.
I did a site search but kept getting too much back on the search to filter out and that's why I asked the question.

To take off the bumper face bar (The metal bumper without upper trim), 4 21mm nuts in from under the bumper pads and 2 bolts in the rear. Thats it. Have to disconnect fogs. Very simple to do.

Someone backed into my truck, Replacing the bumper was very easy. But we did have to shim the drivers side for a perfect fit.

I’m out of town traveling. I should have the info you want, but it’ll be a few days before I can get to it.

Front bumper is a piece of cake. The rear however, I haven't gotten into yet.

Its easier than the front for sure. Its only like 4-6 bolts IIRC. I helped my son replace his front/rear bumpers and his grille and he did the majority of it himself.

Here is another excerpt from the shop manual. Looks like 76 ft-lbs for all of the bolts. The other tip, is that if you have Adaptive Cruise, the manual says to remove the radar sensor. In my experience, and I have remove the bumper numerous times, you don't need to do that. With an appropriate extension, you can get around it to the bolts. The other thing I will say is that a helper, to at least put it back on, is highly recommended. It is frustrating to realign the bumper by yourself.
