OEM factory headrest dvd install 2015 f150
Does anyone know where the factory would pull power for the factory dvd headrests in a 2015 F150? I bought a system and although it's a pretty easy install (only power and ground) I'd like to know where the power hookup is because it looks like it might just plug in somewhere. I can't find installation instructions anywhere.

I have doubts about the "OEM" part of that description...though Ebay listings never lie ( )
Slightly off topic but I haul kids around all the time and there is no better solution than a good iPad headrest mount and a couple cheap iPads. Probably cheaper overall than built ins, useful outside the truck, bigger/better screens, headphones work no problem, no wiring needed, and kids are more adapted to mobile iOS/Android stuff anyway. And later model trucks have both 110v and USB charger ports right in the rear console if battery life is an issue on long trips. I'd think it'd have to be a very, very specific kind of use case to go with built in screens these days. If the issue is "I have a ton of physical DVDs" then there are easy ways to rip those and put them on an iPad too.

Maybe not oem but matches factory cloth on my seats and model number sends to be related to Ford. Anyway, i already have the system and am just wondering if there's a "plug and play" spot for the power connection otherwise i can just find an accessory wire

Looks to be OEM (https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...-vfl3z10e947ba)... you might want to check on forums for Expeditions or Explorers? Thinking you might have better luck there because it's a more likely install for the traditional "family haulers"...

Im not saying its not OEM, the part number is certainly valid, I'm just saying I've never seen this as an option on an F150. Id guess that this is a expedition part

So this is the connection i have for power. It's basically a little square with a hole, possibIy female connection. I know i can just splice it in but if there's a plug in location, i would rather use that. (I know I'm being ****)Anyone familiar with this connection? Does it happen to be how the wire hooks up to fuse box? I was thinking about using that as well. I haven't really had time to even start installing or looking around.

I just checked the accessory installation section of Oasis and there is nothing for the DVD's. It looks like they were a Ford accessory option around 2012, but recently they have only offered the portable DVD setups as an F150 option. I checked Expedition as well, but no luck.
