OEM Brake Controller?

I have a 15 XLT 300a that had an aftermarket hitch. I’m curious if the OEM Brake Controller would work. My truck doesn’t “recognize” when I have my boat or trailer hooked up.

Does your truck have the factory hitch and 4 way/7way connector to the left of the license plate ?
