Default OEM Bed extender

So I have been kicking around getting a stowable oem bed extender since mine didn't come with it and wanted to get some of your thoughts/opinions/reviews on those that do have it. Also, is there any interference with the led bed light button in the bed? Thanks in advance

Yep.. In the stowed position, the bed light switch is tricky to get to behind the stowed bed extender.

Mine came with it and I thought I would never use it but I'm glad I got it. I didn't know it could be flipped in and used to hold stuff like grocery bags, tools, etc near the tailgate and not sliding all over the bed. I use it all the time that way. The light switch is blocked but I can still get to it reaching behind.

I use mine more as a divider than an extender. Doesn't have to come out for big things either. It's really nice!

Yup, use mine as a holding pen for a rambunctious cooler.

It can be purchased afterwards as an accessory but it will be cheaper to get it with the purchase of the vehicle.

What about security? Can this be locked down, or would this be easy for someone to steal out of the bed?

Each side is bolted into the sides of bed with large Torx bolts (50 or 55 size). Someone could take them with the right tools, but I don't think the market for 2015+ F150 bed extenders is that hot.

The stowed and deployed positions are below the bed rails and it easily fits under the Revolver X2. You just can't flip them between stowed and deployed position with the bed cover closed.
