Default Odd Sync3 phone issue

The truck is new to me so I'm still trying to figure stuff out. My phone is paired and all has been well. This morning I get it and start it up and the phone screen comes on and has a count up of how many seconds I've been on the phone...ticking up....23, 24, 25. The stereo won't come on as it thinks I'm on the phone. I'm not. Checked my iphone, closed out all the apps. Hit hang up on the screen and on the steering wheel and it won't hang up. Turn the truck off and back on...same thing. Then after a minute or so it hangs up and all is well. WTH is up with that?

I had a similar issue on my '16 Colorado(it'd mute the radio 'cuz it thought I was on the phone, and cycling the ignition usually wouldn't help).
Figured it was just a glitch in the comm between the phone and truck, but I told the dealer about it once when I took it in for service.
They did a reset and it never did it again. I'm told you can do a reset on the F150 and it's easy, but I'd prolly wait to see if it did it again first.

It will act like that for me if my phone is in the Ring App viewing video from my Ring Doorbell. I guess the Ring app treats the audio like phone call audio. Maybe you have something similar open on your phone.

Hold down the power button and the right arrow button together for about 5 seconds.
