So Sirius sends me a welcome letter with a nice handout listing all their stations.
I take it to the truck and program my stations, then neatly fold the handout and tuck it into the space where the white paper is in the photo, for future use.
Then I decide to uncover the cubby under the white paper, without removing the handout. Not one of my best rocket scientist moves, lol.
The dash ate that Sirius paperwork and refuses to give it up. I pulled out the glovebox, no help. Went under the left footwell with an inspection mirror, no access.
So, my question. Has anyone ever removed the vertical trim piece on the right side of the center stack? The piece with the A/C vent and the Power panel?
Does it just pop out with tabs, or are there screws involved? I have a plastic trim removal set, but first-hand experience is still the best.
Screws are involved and lots of clips. If I remember correctly, the top tray and speaker up top has to be removed before the vertical pieces can come loose. I took apart my dash for the heck of it one day. Not sure if you can get access to the are you want through the vertical piece.
Haha that is a lot better, we must have been writing at the same time. Mine, as you can see doesn't have the floor console. So I guess you get one of each
