Default Normal 5.0 Tick or Something Else?

2020 5.0. Trucks been great - always had the type writer noise, but it's seems it has been getting louder. Normal maintenance except for phaser replacement a few thousand miles back. 117K miles. Normal tick or something else?

Post your video on Youtube and post a link to it here. Othewise, folks aren't going to take a chance on downloading a file from a new user round here. Welcome to the forum.

My truck knocks like that sometimes, as long as it goes away when you hit the throttle your good
make sure your oil is at proper level to
(my 19 consumes oil)
last year when i got my truck i remote started it, neighbor come banging on my door thinking my rig through a rod 😅😅😅😅😅
its brutal when your at drive through and its just echoing

My truck almost always knocked at idle to. Ive been running 89 grade in it and i change the oil every 5k, (prior owner went 12k) and my knocking is down by 70% dont know if its related or not..but its only sometimes my truck knocks now, im at 138xxxkm or 85xxx miles

The noise level you hear is normal for all that is going on in the engine.
4 cams, 4 drive chains, 32 valves and High-Pressure Fuel Pump with a Tick of its own added to the noise level, located outside on the driver side Valve Cover.
The HP pump is driven off a cam lobe.
The engine is a repurposed high performance Mustang Engine with a changeover to Map control and a longer Intake Runners for more low end torque.
If you want to quiet it down a noticeable amount , put MOLY MO S2 additive in the oil and also begin to reduce oil consumption given some time to work.
Good luck.
