Getting my nitto trail grapplers on Monday.
I have ordered 285/70/17 and will be mounting them on stock ford 2007 alloy spoked wheels. My truck has a 2.5" level kit. Not sure of brand the ford dealer installed it before I took delivery.
My question is for anybody that runs logging roads hunting and fishing with this or similar set up.
Do your tires ever rub? I run the 18" equivalent of 265/70/17 on my truck right now (275/65/18) and the diameter of the 285/70/17 at 1"larger looks like it fits no problem. But the 11.8" width looks like it will be close to the inner fender when fully turned especially when travelling up and down on a washboard road.
Any input will be appreciated RB.
