I purchased a 16 Lariat screw 4x4 back in May. Love the truck. Was going to lift it initially, but it seems counter productive to take a $60k vehicle off road. I also have a super duty for towing, so this thing really is a grocery getter.
I have had such a blast with my Eco 3.5 driving around town however, that I think I would rather build a nice street truck instead. I have found the options rather limited when it comes to a real suspension kit. Does anyone know where to find something nice that goes down instead of up?
I've lowered mine with a belltech, And Boostedgreygoose has one of these kits for sale. I'm not totally happy with it as it went a bit lower in rear than I wanted but it was an easy cure to bring it back up (used tough country lift springs). Some folks have used air bags, I wanted something I didn't have to mess with. Check the lowered thread for input on these that folks have done
I think BoostedGreyGoose has the McGaughy's kit, I have the Belltech and it was too low in rear(1st pic), Then with Tuff country add a leafs in rear it is all good(2nd Pic). But belltech should of included this in their kit, BTW belltech support sucks, Basicly told me I was SOL when I asked for a solution.
