Exclamation New Truck SCREAMS check my engine

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone here will have had the same code come up. I have a 2017 2.7 Ecoboost and the check engine light came on today!!

The code is P219B Bank 2 Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance

Sooooo, any advice, the two local dealerships within 45 minutes can't get it in for a week or more!

Thanks everyone!

Do you have an aftermarket cold air intake, or aftermarket exhaust?

I really hope that I don't get stranded anywhere. To me it seems like it might be a turbo issue but then again you think there would be a code for that too??

Hi Summers22, it seems to start, drive and run OK for now. I did notice that it was doing some weird start/stop stuff today so I don't know if that is related but I don't like having a new truck with a CEL on. Especially because it is the family vehicle.

OK friends, the check engine light went out. That gives me a bit easier breathing but I'm still going to get it checked out. What an odd thing to have happen out of nowhere?

Not really, it could be bad gas (ecos prefer premium from my reading).
