So I pulled the grille, installed a new Mishimoto cooler and reinstalled grille.
now heck engine light is on and code ambient temperature--high out put?

Does it need a reset?

Also, remote start does not work.

Remote start is disabled when you have a CEL.

 

so do I need to replace the sensor?

 

I have no idea...

I was merely commenting that the reason your remote start doesn't work is because you have a CEL. Fix the CEL and your remote start will start working again. This is by design.

 

Did the truck have a factory auxiliary transmission cooler?

 

yes. it was a simple swap.

The sensor is right behind the grille are you sure you reconnected it securely?

 

Also why did you change out the cooler? Just asking.
