New Tire Recommendation Needed

Likely get some snubbed noses on this, but the KO2's might be what you're looking for. I don't think they're the cure all for heavy snow, but in the conditions you describe, they should be pretty good. Mine wore nicely, not much noise I didn't think. I had the 315/70/17 on Raptor wheels, and with a sidewall that big, they rode very nicely, although going into corners with that big sidewall, they felt somewhat mushy, with 44 psi in them, but I got used to them.
I've had Michelins in the past, LTX, IIRC, and they performed just as well as the BFG's, maybe a little better.

Basically for you, either would be a good choice, and if I were using them like yourself, price and appearance would be my deciding factor.

The LTX A/T 2 is a great tire. Another great A/T P rated tire that hasn't been mentioned is the Nitto Terra Grappler G2. A bit more aggressive look, better in the snow and cheaper than the K02.

I find it interesting that according to TireRack the Defender LTX is superior to the LTX A/T 2 in all categories. Even off road?
The LTX A/T 2 has around 17 million more miles reported. I wonder if the Defenders would even out after awhile.

I understand if I were to pull a travel trailer or something I should put LTs on my truck as I'd more then likely be at max payload on the truck due to a travel trailor's heavy hitch weight.
My cargo trailer has about 320 pounds on the hitch - plenty of room to spare that's why I'm considering the 'P' rated tires again. I just don't want to make a mistake.
