So I've got something going on with my drivers seat that I cannot figure out nor have I read about, and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this.

As soon as I turn on the ignition my drivers seat adjustment/massage motor starts up but doesn't do anything in terms of adjusting the settings and/or massage. It literally just runs. It stays on for 10-20 seconds before shutting off, and sometimes I can turn it off by manually hitting the manual adjustment buttons on the side of the seat. If I look on the display while the motor is running it says that the seat settings are adjusting, but in fact, nothing is changing.

It happens every time I step into the cab.

Anyone had this issue? 2015 Plat. I have not had the cooling TSB performed.

If you shut down the truck while they are running, the will reset once you restart the vehicle.

If it is happening without you using them prior to shut off, take it in for service.

 

Sounds like the memory seats are trying to move to position.

If the motor runs but there is no movement it makes me think the seat is at the end of travel or gear motor is bad.
