New Lariat ordered!
Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster!
I ordered a new loaded Lariat on the 25th of March, (to replace my 2013 FX4 Screw) and COTUS is showing a estimated delivery date of May 3.
Seems rather fast doesn't it? 5.5 weeks.
I see lots of guys ordering Platinum's and King Ranches, am I the only one who cant stand the Platinum\KR badging on the tailgate?
I would of loved a Platinum, but that huge aluminium plate on the tailgate was a complete and utter turn off.
24 days to go! Will post pics when it finally arrives.

When I placed the order lead time was estimated at 14-16 weeks so it is "on schedule" as far as what I expected. With the KC plant up and running now I would think that lead times will come down for customer orders.
Fro what I have seen and read here...when the order is placed inthe cycle and what your dealers limits are on what they can order and how they can prioritize orders can have an effect on how long the order processing will take.
I must have hit it poorly as my truck sat in "order processing" for a month. It has since went to "in production" and is scheduled for build tomorrow or the next day...blend date of 4/9. But when it did move to "in Production" the delivery date changed as well...moved out 10 more days.
I think the estimations are probably a lot more predictable once "in production" is reached. At least I am hoping so. 5/5 is my estimated delivery date.

I've only seen XLT's and Lariats on the road around town (seen mostly base XLTs or Sport Lariats), but this is of course an F150 enthusiast's website so the demographics might be skewed compared to your standard owner out in the real world.
