Just threw this in another thread, but I've got the XLTs sized up to 295/70/17 and fit under an Eibach 2" level kit. Similar experience as above in terms of the upcharge for the new XLT models when I went shopping for the AT/Ws, but I was comfortable paying a bit extra for a 60,000 mile warranty and Discount Tire's reputation for taking care of its customers. Thus far a big fan of handling both on and off road, haven't noticed a big drop off in MPG or performance or a notable increase in road noise.
I know this is an old post, but I came across it via random google search and couldn’t believe someone else had the exact wheel & tire combo I was running on my truck. Actually, I thought it was a pic of my truck at first.... I’ve been running these tires for about a year now and absolutely love them - no complaints. Very smooth, very quiet. I was running Ridge Grapplers prior to these Coopers and I gotta say the coopers run soo much better.
I've had the AT3 on my Tundra, switched from the KO2. The AT3's are MUCH quieter than the KO2's on pavement. Use them mostly on rock/dirt not mud and snow and no traction problems.
I had one set of KO's, on a Jeep, and will not be buying another. Nice tires but loud as hell and there are other quieter choices with similar performance.
On my second set of At3's. I went back and forth between bfg and Coopers and I believe I made the correct choice. I'll about 12k miles on my 06 and they are wearing well. Another thumbs up for Coopers.
