I'll certainly check out the F250 if the gasser guys get reasonable gas mileage out of the 6.2l. I really like the looks of the front end for the same reason I like the GMC Sierra Denali, they both have a real "truck" look. If gas mileage is as bad as it has been, I'll look harder at the GMC next truck.

This F250 6.2 Lariat msrp is 58,000 The F150 5.0 Lariat I built online was 58,000.
Not to mention thr F150 I built did not include a moonroof ( the 250 does ) and the 150 was a 6.5 bed compared to a 8' bed on the 250.
They both had very similar options outside of that. 20's, leather, heated, coooled seats and so on.
The $10,000 diesel option is what kills you.....and lets be honest 90% of the non-commercial guys with a diesel don't need one.

light vs heavy trucks (a comparison)
super duty trucks are for working
they are heavy duty
our trucks cannot compare to the power and towing capability of super duty trucks.
it is similar to comparing a Stryker or Bradley to a M1A2 Tank
Sure a stryker or bradley can do some damage to the enemy , but compared to a M1A2; it is light duty
its all in relative terms
I'm glad you found it comical.
