Need a solution to keep mud out of engine bay

I'm wondering how everyone is keeping the mud out of their engine bay. I constantly have to clean mine after every fishing trip. This is a 2wd with mudflaps.

I know its a 2X but I have the FX4 with the OEM skid plate you might look into buying just the front skid to keep some of the splatter out.
