Purchased a black plastic Ford tailgate cover for my 2017 from an online source. When it arrived discovered only half of the screws that hold it onto the tailgate were inside the package. Been back and forth a couple of times with the vendor and even tried buying some screws from someone else but got the wrong ones.
Anyone know where I can buy some of these?

 

I think your best bet would be to get some phillips screws and put some washers on.

 

Dealers intall bed covers and tailgate covers all the time. Maybe next time you are near the dealer, take one of those screws to the parts counter and ask if they could order you some. Might not be the cheapest option, but it's worth at least checking out.

 

I would go to your nearest Line-x or rhino dealer and see if they have any lying around from one of their jobs.
