Default Need help identifying part

So I was changing the cabin air filter on my 2016 F150 Platinum. It was my first time on this truck. I didn't get the trim tool all the way underneath and caused damage to the wood trim piece right above the glove box. I got it out finally. Next time I'll use a different tool. Anyways, the damage is actually hidden by the plastic piece that overlaps it a bit but I wanted to see if I could replace the trim piece anyways. I took photos of the back and it has a Ford stamp then the following number: FL3B-15045C39-DASMQR. I can't find a Ford Part number that matches. It looks like the actual Ford part number may be: FL3Z-1504339-DA. I just can't tell by the finish. I have a glossy wood trim finish and I can't tell what part I need.

Is there anybody here that can help me identify the part number?

Is it this color? If so, it is the Eucalyptus , which is the DA part # you referenced. Call the dealer and give them your VIN, they should be able to confirm.

Mine looks more uniform in color on the wood grain. It doesn't look dark on the edges like that I don't think. I'll have to take a pic when it's light out. There were several part numbers similar to FL3Z-1504339-DA but I couldn't tell which one was my wood grain.

It does appear to me to be more like this:

I did send a couple emails to dealers asking them to help me out. I included my VIN. But inputting my VIN on the Ford website didn't help at all. I do know for a fact the back of my trim piece has this number: FL3B-15045C39-DASMQR. It looks just like this piece in the old Ebay add (both front and back).

Yeah I was looking up that Ebay ad earlier and almost posted it. It certainly looks darker than the Eucalyptus. It would be nice if Ford included pictures of all their wood trim options in their brochures. I guess wait and see what the dealer comes up with for you.

Dealers are useless as usual. But Tasca replied to me and said that it was part FL3Z.-1504339-DA. So I guess I'll have to order it and see what it looks like when I get it. Then if it isn't the correct part I can send it back.

@Sir Aaron post a picture of your damaged one and I can see if I can match it properly for you... or use the below process and do it yourself!

If you go to a ford dealer's parts website (I always use parts.levittownfordparts.com) and plug in your vehicle year, make, model, trim, and engine, then click on "body", then "instrument panel components", it should be #15 in the parts picture, you can then take those individual part numbers and plug them into Google one at a time and there could be some site or seller somewhere that has a real picture of it posted...

The part number you are looking for should be this: FL3Z-1504339-XX (XX depending on which color it is).... they have it listed as BD = Galvano Lattice, DA & AC = Eucalyptus, BA = King Rose, BB = Armour Lattice, CA = Khaya

Now take the above part number with each of the 5 letter pairs above at the end of it and google it and you might be able to find the one you have!
