Apologies in advance if threads like this are discouraged. I'm a newb and don't know much about etiquette here.

I'm a bit of a weirdo in that I make my living in the two-way radio business and as such I need a very specific truck. I love my 2014 XLT 302A screw, but it has nearly 100K miles on it and is starting to nickel and dime me. I'll sell it on CL myself rather than messing around with a trade, partly because I need to swap 5 radios out of the old one into the new one and this takes about a week for me to do.

Here's what I'm looking for in a new F150:
solid white exterior (can be a premium white)
NON-black interior (gray or tan is fine)
NO moon roof (that's where the antennas go)
big fuel tank
4WD
screw
110v/400W outlet

Aside from that, I'd like the nicest truck I can find (Platinum, King Ranch, Lariat), but it is nearly impossible to find anything above XLT that doesn't have a moonroof, and that option is just a complete non-starter for me (as is anything other than the colors I specified due to heat).

I'm in the Kansas City area, but the closest thing I found meeting my requirements was a Lariat in Wichita and those morons wanted $1K below MSRP (NOT gonna happen). I have cash in hand, no trade, just looking for a truck anywhere in the country that meets my requirements from a dealer that wants to sell a truck at a reasonable price (i.e. a LOT less than $1K below MSRP).

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

In my looking for a truck for the last year, I only found one truck in the mid-Atlantic that did not have a moon-roof but had the 502A package and it looked like it was ordered by the dealer for it to be sent to an up-fitter for a lifted, "off-road looking," truck conversion that fell through. All the others that I have found with a similar package have been lifted and modified by a third party prior to delivery to the dealer. Your best bet is going to be to order a new truck that meets your needs.

Cars.com will let you search nation wide and gets pretty specific in the filters, however, I think you will have to order as mentioned above.

Or go have a dealer do a search. They can search farther and pick and choose options better than we can online.

Just finding any truck without the rattle glass roof is extremely difficult. I looked nationwide for a RWD Platinum without one, NONE available. Searched 4WD, NONE available. I special ordered and got exactly what I want, RWD Platinum 701a with Max Tow package and nuttin else!

How are your antenna attaching to the roof? Magnets are no bueno with aluminum.

Could always get a headache rack and mount antennas on it and have a moon roof, would be easier swapping between trucks.
