Default Navigation Updates Sequential??

I recently downloaded the nav update for my 2020 F-150. Decided after perusing threads about the install, I decided to forgo. If I skip this update, how often do new updates appear? Lastly, are the updates sequential? What I am asking is, if another update appears, will it load, or will I have to go back and do the previous update? I seldom use the native nav, and am most used to using "Maps" on iPhone.

You can skip years without issue. Just the matter of how long they will be free to you, or if you don't mind paying, is the only true question.

The 1.19 maps were officially released earlier this year, they were released by unofficial means months prior. Really no rhyme or reason how often they are released. Just when Ford wants to push them out.

Yea, the phone apps update daily and are no charge, more up to date also. Will do any free truck updates and then just use it as a map display when driving.

Default NAV Update on SD Card

Think ot was Ebay a couple months ago. Saw a number listing stating latest Ford Navigation Update preloaded on a SD Card for $26. Just slide it in next to the USB port in the covered tray, (for those with center console,) and let it do its thing
