Hey everyone.

So I have been browsing the intranets for info on adding nav to my factory sync 3 radio and I know you have to have the sd card to make it work and then the forscan tool to add the nav to the options. I was wondering where the sd slot on the radio is? Is it behind the radio?

Sync 3 does use an SD card for nav. That was sync 2. I believe you would need a nav enabled apim for nav to work.

Eyecu is correct. Sync 3 requires a swap of the APIM. I bought a nav unit from lucas8888 on here and had factory nav within 30 minutes.

Easy swap.
