Default Mykey question?

I mistakenly held down the my key button and it memorized settings that I don't like. unfortunately, I can't seem to turn it off. I went to the my key and held it down but it doesn't do anything. Any suggestions?

I think you have to use a key that is not programmed as a my key to clear any keys that are programmed.

Your manual has a section on MyKey which includes "Clearing All MyKeys"... In short, you need to use an Admin Key to get into the menu to clear it.

As others have said, use the key that's not programmed. I've done it on my daughters 16 focus.

Thanks for the responses, I'll get my manual out and give this a shot. I don't know why they design something that's a pain in the A** to clear.

That's actually a good thing. It'll be easy with the other key.

After I got my truck I only had one key. I had no idea my "MyKey" was all about and I programmed the only key to it. I had to wait until I could get to a dealer and buy another key and have it programmed to the truck to clear the my key settings.
