Default Mykey issue

I just purchased a 2019 Ford F150. I have only one remote and it's not an admin remote. Is there a way to delete the remote so it doesn't limit my speed and radio volume?

I don't want to pay the dealer $300 +

I am always shocked when someone buys a truck but only gets one remote (because remotes from a dealer are mucho expensive). Your second option is a locksmith, still plenty expensive but likely less than a dealer.

I only got one key when I bought my 2018. Went to eBay and bought a second key fob for $24, seller guaranteed it would work, and it does. Use this link I found from a search while looking for the replacement fob, and found a locksmith who programmed fob, cut the key and got my door code, all for $60.

I only received one key fob from the dealer when I purchased my 2029 F-150 in July of 2025. I bought a second fob off ebay. Took it to my losksmitth for programming; at a cost of $100. He could not get it to work. Reason, these fobs operate on specific radio frequencies. Turns out the ebay fob was not operating on the same frequency as my OEM fob, Something to be aware of when buying a fob in the aftermarket.
