There's no denying the tunes make the trucks fast but there are many blown engines as well. There is a long history of poor customer service as well. For anyone considering purchase, make sure you do your due diligence and go into it informed. Caveat Emptor!

This is the last I will be posting on this subject.
There's really no evidence to support your claims. SSI has never had a transverse ecoboost let go. Unlike many other tuners. As far as trucks go, early ecoboosts were very known for piston skirt failures on stock engines. Then there was the water digestion from the intercooler that caused more issues. The aluminum body trucks have pretty much eliminated most of those issues if not all.

Shawn gives great customer service. The dude works very hard, including nights and weekends to keep up with the demand for his tunes. He won't bs you and he will give you facts and won't try to sell you something you don't need. I have had nothing but the best experience with him and his tunes.

Of course SSi trucks are fast. They have the best and most experienced tuner behind them. Their customers are the most knowledgeable and dedicated group of people which comes to fruition at the track and on the street.

I can definitely attest to this, Shawn has been awesome to communicate with.

I didn't see the one that threw a rod recently using an SSI tune, there was a thread of a guy throwing one with a livernois tune though about a month ago....

exactly what I am talking about. No facts, just I saw it online and it has to be the tune, etc. People rush to judgement, make assumptions and lose their minds.

I was thinking the same thing. It'd be nice to know how it ended up.
