As stated I don't know how fast she was going because I wasn't in her car and I'm not a crash reconstruction expert. I also know that a 4runner is not an Outlander.
Anyways, hopefully the adjuster can look at it today. I'm ready to know for sure whats going to happen.

It's unlikely the truck will be totaled from that collision. The rear section of the frame buckles and tears pretty easy on these trucks and in most cases they will just replace the rear section of the frame but you could need a frame replacement. They will have to replace the entire bed, bumper, trailer hitch, and any broken lights. It's a 15 to 20,000 dollar repair after paint. My advice, only bring it to a Ford certified repair facility.

Shame to hear, Flickr doesn't work at my office. Hope you're ok.
If totaled, getting another F150?

That damage could easily be from a 55 mph vs 0 mph collision, it all depends on the impact points. It looks like he was impacted square on the bumper and it forced the nose of the other vehicle down, allowing the F150's frame to absorb most of the damage, and I imagine the front end of the other vehicle is completely blown up. His truck also has plenty of damage, just not the clearly visible damage like body panels crushed and torn off.

I've heard of them replacing entire frame but not just the rear section. I thought the way these frames were built prevented that.
On another note, I had returned my truck to stock a while back. If the 2/4 was still on it there would probably be more body damage.

Glad you're ok, but if you need furthest medical attention use the insurance claim number instead of your own insurance. Anything you spend for over the counter meds, save receipts. I would be surprised if there is not a lot of hidden damage to your truck. Things like buckled floors and rear of cab. Having been through a head on in my 13 STX, hidden damage that was found by the body shop AFTER the insurance co. Said fix it, turned it into a total. BTW the front section of the frame would have been $4600 plus installation. I would start shopping for another vehicle.

I do have to say All State has been great to talk to and work with, at least to this point.

First glance at the pics and I would say the Truck held up well! Glad you are ok and no one had serious injuries. You will be sore for days. That was quite a lick, hope you get a new one!

It's at a Ford certified facility. If All State pushes for the truck to be repaired then it'll probably go to the Ford dealer here. Where it is now is certified for the Ford aluminum body work, but even admitted that a frame swap would be better handled at the dealer's collision center. If they decide that then I'll be pushing for diminished value and future liability.

Honestly I'm not sure, I may just go with something really cheap for the time. On the other hand I may go with a used 11-14 F150.

You'll get the depreciated value of the truck which is up to 15%, roughly.
