The best start for Ford for these critical lines would be to use wire with heavier and stronger insulation.
That’s a quick fix but it will make the F150 heavier affecting the vehicles MPG and payload (yes, all very slightly) and requirements from the FEDs!
I guess it’s easier to just put some tape on when needed…..
