Default Multiple error messages with no codes

Hello,

I have a 2015 F-150 Platinum with 130k miles. I bought it new in 2015. A couple months ago I started having a recurring problem. I jokingly referred to it as a problem that only happened when driving south because it only seems to happen when it is warmer in the afternoons when I am driving south home from work. I drive on the interstate for about 25 minutes and then get into some stop and go traffic the last few miles before I get home and that is usually when the problem was occurring. I will usually be at a stop light when all of a sudden I get a bunch of errors pop up including service advance trac, collision avoidance unavailable, and hill start assist inoperative. I hit "ok" and am left with an advance trac and ABS warning lights. Then when I back into my garage I get "check park aid" and the park aid warnings don't work. I try to read codes and there are none. When I get up in the morning the next day everything is fine again. I really think it is something that is malfunctioning when it gets hot. I saw on a post there are sometimes issues with the big connector back by the spare tire so I used deoxit on all the connectors in the back including that big 20 pin connector. I really think it may be something up near the radiator as it seems I can drive for a long time on the highway but as soon as I get into stop and go traffic I have the problem. I did hit a deer a few years ago and most of my front grill area was rebuilt. Other than the errors, the truck runs and drives great. I do lose function of my adaptive cruise control when the issue happens as well. With the truck giving no error codes I really don't know where to start looking for the problem. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

What are you using to read the codes? A typical OBDII code reader only reads codes from the PCM/ECM and will not read codes from the other 18 or so modules in your truck. If you are getting messages, there are codes. You need to use FORScan, Ford IDS, or other computer based diagnostic scan tools to read the codes. Until then, you are "shooting in the dark".

Yeah I think I have a pretty basic obd2 code reader. Can you suggest an affordable reader I should get?

If you have a Windows Laptop then FORScan is the way to go. Read Post #1 of this thread.

FORScan is one of the best tools in my tool box and it keeps getting better.

I have a 2022 with 33k on it and I receive similar codes. My truck as been at the dealership for 5 weeks as they try to figure it out. They think its the gateway module, which they have changed, but it hasn't corrected the issue.
