I have a couple of codes and would like to ask the forums for some input help.
Let's start with the EVAP code. It started as a P1450. I did some research and found that it is usually the canister purge valve. Replaced it and the code came back. But it came back with another EVAP code as well P0442. I then replaced the entire charcoal canister which also came with a new vapor filter and new vent solenoid. So all of that is new. I would still get codes and it would fluctuate between P1450 and P0442. So I tried to clean the no cap fuel fill like I saw online. Still get the code. I do have the vapor line from the canister purge valve to the charcoal canister ready to install, but haven't done that just yet. The next thing I can think of is to drop the fuel tank and replace the fuel tank pressure sensor and maybe while I am there also replace some of the lines running on top of the tank. Anyone else have any ideas?
Over the weekend, I started to get a P21CF code. It started as a cylinder 1 misfire code. But it has consistently become a P21CF code. From my limited research it seems that this is an injector or wiring issue. I don't even know where to start with this one and I don't know that there is any link between the two codes, but any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help.
