Default Mud Flaps- yes or no?

I am about to pull the trigger on a full set of flaps for my 2015. I was wondering if anyone has any negative feedback on installing or using them. Is there any paint rub through or dirt build up behind them?
I have never had flaps before and don't know if there's draw backs to them.

Any feedback on the Ford, weathertec, or husky would be helpful

I have Weather tech no drill and no negatives to them at all. I live in Iowa snow, etc and they really help keep the running boards and sides of truck clear of snow and ice etc.

I have the weathertech on my truck. I like them as they help keep dirt and snow from being thrown onto the truck and stop rocks from slamming against the undercarriage. I have AMP running boards that tuck under the truck, so they don't protect the paint as much as the other running boards do. I also have a level and 33" mud/snow tires on the truck so they fling a considerable amount of dirt. No issues with dirt build up yet, but they are easy to take on and off and are no drill. As with any crevice, eventually their will be some dirt build up, but these are easy to clean. They don't contact the paint, only the fender flares if you have them.

I was concerned with how they would look. I like the clean look of the truck, but I was surprised at how well the weathertech's look. I'll get a picture later if you want. No drawbacks except for if you don't like the look of mud flaps. IMO these look the best as there are some hideous ones out there that look stupid.

I was asking this in the 2015 area of the forum because the search results brought up results for previous year models. Things have changed a bit onthe 15. I was curious if there were any concerns on the new body style.

Only negative might be them vibrating over time and damaging the paint beneath. This happened with my old Tacoma after a few thousand miles. Not sure if this is a concern with the F150?

Can the no-drill flaps be used with factory wheel well liners?
