Mud flaps
I ran my truck for four winters and struggled keeping the PRBs operational all winter long. Finally broke down and installed some Gatorbacks. Between the Gatorbacks keeping a lot of the snow off the boards and using Fluid Film for lubrication, I have not had a single PRB issue this winter.
The Gatorbacks are expensive, especially if you buy the no-drill brackets, but I feel it was a good choice and would install them again on a new truck, only I would do it right away.

I have the Weathertechs and they helped the front doors but my rear doors still ice up if conditions are right. The bottom door edge is too close to the step mount brace that collects slush. I didn't have this problem with my previous generation truck that also had OEM step bars. I've been lucky so far that the kids haven't damaged the door by forcing it open.
