Lately mine has been about that. But-cold weather and lots of wind lately and that will definitely affect mileage. I try to set cruise at 70-73 mph on the interstate going to and from work, but the wind really kills mileage.

For short bursts, yeah. But in reality I normally cruise 75-80 mph range when conditions allow.

So after my last trip to Oklahoma from N Texas, hand calculated mileage is 17. 425.2 miles, 25.02 gallons. Computer said 17.4
That was driving 75-80 in a lot of places.
Yesterday, drove up a different hiway to Ok, and the computer says 18.3. Much shorter trip this time, but same speeds again.
This is an 18, 2.7 FX4

But then some people know more than the rest of us, even if they weren't there....

Ya, that's what I was thinking.

I don't know why but this is the second post I've seen from todd in 5 minutes and he's been overly negative with both posts. Really adding to the community with his uplifting posts!

Every time I get back into this forum I'm reminded that there are a few guys who seem to hate life and love bringing their negative attitude into their posts.

This is what made the difference. My best tank was driving in crazy traffic up 95 last year, either at a standstill or 80, got about 24mpg on the trip. If I drive 70 by myself with cruise on I'm lucky to see 19. 2017 2.7 3.55 screw 4x4.

I have 3:31's in my 2018 5.0 scab 4x4; 1800 to 1850 at 80mph.
