Does anyone have a 16 and feel like the MPG IS WORSE. my 13 gave me 600 miles to a tank which is damn near close to 17mpg. My 16 is giving me 13-14 mpg. I know when I break it in it will improve but my 13 was 700lbs heavier and I was carrying a bed full of tools.

Need to break in the motor, take 4-5000 miles to get a good accurate reading, plus running on winter blend (depending on the motor) can affect your mileage. Also the type of gear ratio you have will play a difference. My old truck (04f 150) I would lose 2 mpg just on the stupid winter blend ****.

Give it time, my truck started out (I have the 5.0 w 3.55) under 14 in the city, now I'm getting about 15.5-16 in city with 33"

That sounds very low to me. I do very few long trips and mostly town and rural driving, no interstates. I am getting 18.3 for the lifetime mileage with about 8000 miles on the truck. I had a 2012 that got mileage like you are posting. It turned out the brakes were dragging. The guy I sold it to had it worked on and they eventually found stick calipers. His mileage went up over 2 mpg instantly.

I have a 16 platinum 5.0 fx4 with 3.55 electronic lock. My 13 was a lariat w/ 5.0 fx4 373 electronic lock. So far I have been a bit disappointed with the new truck. In comparison the 13 outperformes the 16 in every way. It had more *****, my stereo was much better, it felt planted and gripped the road better. Last night I merged on to my local highway and I had to punch it to get it and it took a good 50 ft before the truck hooked up. I have merged at that intersection time and time again in my 13 and it never did that. So far the 16 is like a gorgeous woman. Sweet to look at but rotten under her skin hahaha. No offense to any pretty women

My truck gets around 18, I've never hit 19 or gone below 17. 5.0 motor with 6500 miles. That's what I've been getting since I bought it.

18 would be awesome but 13.5 is NFG. Hopefully my new tonneau helps out a bit
